Robinson Rockets • Senior Connection
THE
CONNECTION.
Robinson lost the district's leading running back. Now TCU quarterback commit Brice McCurdy and UTSA receiver commit Dylan Medlock are ready to shoulder more of the offense—and chase another deep playoff run.
THE NEXT PLAY
BELONGS TO THEM.
For the past two seasons, Robinson could lean on one of the district's most productive running backs. Evan Moreno has graduated, taking a major share of the Rockets' offense with him. Replacing that production will not fall on one player. It begins with a senior connection that already knows how to deliver.

QB • NO. 3 • TCU COMMIT
BRICE
MCCURDY
McCurdy's game is built on calm. His effortless arm talent stretches every blade of grass, while his pocket presence allows routes to develop without forcing the moment. When the pocket breaks down, his deceptive speed makes him a true dual-threat problem. Stoic and difficult to rattle, he gives Robinson a steady hand when the game gets loud.

WR • NO. 9 • UTSA COMMIT
DYLAN
MEDLOCK
Medlock does not chase attention. He simply arrives where he is supposed to be. His routes are fluid, efficient and free of wasted movement—an understated style that repeatedly creates separation. Verbally committed to UTSA, he continues to draw major Division I interest, including a Stanford visit during the offseason.
PRODUCTION TO REPLACE. Moreno's graduation changes the shape of Robinson's offense. The Rockets will have to replace explosive plays, tough carries and the security of a proven backfield centerpiece. That reality places more responsibility on McCurdy's decision-making and on Medlock's ability to turn opportunities into points.
THE GOALS ARE BIG. Medlock has set his sights on a 1,500-yard season, but the number comes second to winning. McCurdy carries the same energy: more than 3,500 total yards is the personal target, but only if that production moves Robinson deeper into the postseason.
MORE THAN A TWO-MAN GAME. McCurdy will look often toward Medlock, but senior tight end Jackson Paris will be essential as well. The 225-pound, first-team all-district selection gives Robinson a large, physical target and another way to extend the running game. Quiet away from the collision but mean at the point of contact, Paris is equally willing to stay attached as an extra blocker and help keep McCurdy clean in the pocket.
One calm hand in the pocket. One precise route runner outside. A larger challenge awaits—and McCurdy and Medlock are ready for it.
